Maggie was diagnosed with permanent bilateral hearing loss at just six weeks old. With no history of hearing loss in the family, Maree and her husband were in a profound state of shock. Everything seemed like a blur. They were terrified that Maggie would not have the same opportunities as her brother Porter.

Now at just two years old, Maggie has made a lot of progress. She loves swimming, art, music and dancing. This is a fantastic outcome that would not have been possible without the help of our supporters!
